Mustafa Nal graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2016 and was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association in the same year. During his undergraduate studies, he was selected to spend one academic year as an exchange student at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, one of the leading higher education institutions in Germany and worldwide.
Over nearly a decade of practice, he has provided preventive legal counsel across the full spectrum of commercial disputes — including the establishment of Turkish branch offices for foreign-invested companies, the structuring of inter-company joint ventures, and general corporate advisory work — and has represented employers in litigation. During this period, he has also successfully conducted composition (concordato) and insolvency proceedings.
He has particular expertise in the drafting and negotiation of shareholders' agreements, profit-sharing agreements and ordinary partnership agreements, both between corporate entities and between individuals. He has served as an adviser on compliance projects under Turkish personal data protection legislation.
He has advised companies engaged in mining and wind energy generation, with a particular focus on matters governed by forestry legislation, and has extensive experience in licensing and licence extension files brought before the administrative courts.
He specialises in insurance law, principally in third-party liability, all-risk, fire and earthquake insurance. In addition to these areas, his practice interests include the law governing the legal profession, with a particular emphasis on the unjust dismissal of counsel.
He is fluent in English and German.
